The United States should have abundant, good jobs that contribute to our society, economy, and create financial stability for workers. In TN-02, we have a culture of entrepreneurship, with businesses large and small innovating and serving our community.

We should be leading the way, not falling behind.

But that's not what's happening. We're losing thousands of manufacturing jobs, small businesses are hurting from the President's trade war, and union membership is on the decline. Our farmers are struggling with the loss of their biggest markets due to Trump's ongoing trade war.

Michaela will invest in East Tennessee’s workforce, which includes creating high-quality jobs in advanced manufacturing, clean energy, healthcare, and technology. It also means supporting small business owners, including farmers, by providing the resources and help they need to thrive and pushing back against shortsighted policies harm them.

In Congress, Michaela will work to:

• Ensure that all Tennesseans the right to unionize, including federal workers.

• Implement commonsense, pro-worker labor regulations.

• Invest in community workforce training.

• Expand national service programs.

• Invest in East Tennessee manufacturing and innovation.
