Medical providers report constant anxiety that they will be prosecuted for treating miscarriages or other emergencies in their pregnant patients.

Reproductive freedom means more than access to birth control and abortion - it also means ensuring that people who want to have children can do so safely and can afford childcare and medical care.

Here's how we put that into practice:

• Restore and protect the right to abortion care nationwide, so decisions stay with patients and their doctors, not politicians.

• Defend access to contraception and fertility treatments like IVF, ensuring families have real choices in planning or growing their families.

• Expand maternal health care and reduce maternal mortality, especially addressing racial disparities in pregnancy outcomes.

• Guarantee paid family leave and affordable childcare, so parents don’t have to choose between financial security and having and raising children.
